Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions are valid for the current courses offered by Forró Den Haag, being subject to changes for future courses.

By registering in one of Forró Den Haag courses, you agree to accept and abide by these terms and conditions below.

1. Registration

Registration is done via the registration form.

To register, first read all the descriptions containing the instructions and schedule for the desired level. Note that our courses are subdivided in blocks of 4 weeks. You can only join a course at the beginning of a block. If you buy a trimester package but outgrow your level, you change level at the start of each block. Please note that we expect students to take at least one block of level 0 and one year of level 1.

Be aware that:

• The "Full trimester" option is available only up to and including the second class of each trimester. If you happen to miss the first week and still wish to purchase the "Full trimester" option, it will still be necessary to pay the full price (€150)
• If you choose the "4-week block" option, you must start at the beginning of each block.
• Sometimes life makes it impossible to attend all classes, we have created an 8-out-of-12 pack of classes for a trimester for students that know they cannot always attend.

2. Trial Classes

Trial classes are valid only for new students and can only be used once per student. If you decide to enroll in one of our courses after a trial class, the trial class fee will be refunded upon the purchase of the course.

3. Payment

Payments are to be fulfilled at the end of the registration process and are handled by Stripe. It is possible to pay by card or Ideal. Your registration is confirmed after your payment is succeeded. Upon success you will also receive an email confirmation from classes@forrodenhaag.nl.

4. Missed classes, cancellations and refunds

Missed classes and repositions

If you are registered in Level 0 and missed a class contact us if you wish to catch up on a different date, as this course works in repeated blocks of 4 weeks you can join the corresponding class in the future. For that please contact us via contact@forrodenhaag.nl informing you name and the date you missed and we will try to allocate you in the closest equivalent option.

For Levels 1 and 2, that is not possible because during the trimester the content of each class is different. If you missed a class feel free to ask one of the instructors at the end of the next class you follow to help you if needed or book a private class if you prefer.

Cancellations

If you have a change of plans and wish to cancel your reservation, kindly contact us at contact@forrodenhaag.nl at least 7 days before the beginning of the block. We will process the cancellation through the booking tool. It's important to note that verbal cancellations are not acceptable, and the cancellation must be in written form.

If you cancel with less than 7 days before the block begins, a cancellation fee of 50% of the fee will be charged, except in the specific situation described below.

If you are unable to attend 3 or more classes due to medical reasons, you may request a refund for the unattended classes. To proceed, kindly provide a brief explanation to the email contact@forrodenhaag.nl. You must inform us before the classes take place, otherwise no refund is granted.

5. COVID

Right now there are no COVID measures in place in the Netherlands. Please note that COVID measures may be subject to change during the trimester. Rest assured, we will communicate any modifications clearly to you. By registering, you agree to comply with these changes and respect the updated measures. If you are sick you must stay home.

6. Data protection

By registering, you agree that we can store and process your data and use it to contact you if needed. We may send you information about next courses and events organized by Stichting Forró Den Haag. Please be assured that your personal data will be stored solely for internal purposes and will not be shared with third parties. By registering or participating in a dance course, the participant gives consent for photos taken during the dance lessons to be published on the association's website, social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, or similar), and pages of events in which Stichting Forró Den Haag is involved, as well as in print media (e.g., newspapers, etc.). It is possible that these photos may also be used by third parties. If you you wish to have the audiovisual material in which you are featured removed please make a request via email on contact@forrodenhaag.nl.
